The NBA needs a team in Seattle ASAP. It is a joke they have been without one this long, especially with the 'Cadillac' arena plan in place.
Technically 1999-2000 was below the 90% threshold as well, but it's close enough so ill let it slide

I don't think anybody has said that Seattle doesn't deserve a team, that was never anybody's argument. I don't understand why the fan base is so vitriolic in expressing this sentiment every chance they get. It's the biggest market without a team and I would be shocked if the next available team (either through expansion or other means) doesn't end up in Seattle.

I think cooling off on the anti-Stern/anti-KJ/anti-Vivek/anti-NBA sentiments would go a long way to helping the cause. Never have I encountered a group of people that want so badly to be included in something that they seem to HATE so much. Trashing the league that you want back and the commissioner of said league every chance you get is not going to make them want to welcome you back with open arms. Also, I think it's about time to cut out the Sacramento hate as well it's over, time to move on. You will have a team eventually but these things move slow in this business.

Anti-Vivek? Where?

Satan Stern and the idiot club NBA (sans Mark Cuban, Paul Allen, and a few other smart guys) deserve the scorn they are getting. KJ is a slanderous liar and deserves the scorn until he apologizes to Seattle fans and admit he lied.

Seattle will get a team when that angry idiot Stern is finally retired.

Also, show me evidence of recent Sac. hate. Seattle fans want our Sonics and for Sacramento to keep the team. It was angry idiot Stern and his stupid leadership that forced our fan bases against each other. The NBA will be a much better entity when that mental midget POS Stern is gone.

He slandered the great fans of the Sonics and never apologized nor corrected the record about the excellent fan support in Seattle. We lost the Sonics due to greedy idiots (Schultz), the lying Okies wanting to a bring a team to their zero horse village, & the supremely incompetent David Stern NBA clown show's lack of intelligent leadership, not to due to the fans. KJ still owes us an apology.

Do you have a source for this? KJ even said that not only does he support the NBA in Seattle but that he would even assist in the efforts to get a team there.

You need to relax man.

Lose your team, and try to relax. When NBA season rolls around, and the weather turns to crap, I'll be even less "relaxed."

Boycott Starbucks.

The true mecca would be New York, son.
