About as much as they got before LeBron and Bosh got to town which is close to nil.

Heat fans are probably the worst fan base in sports outside of maybe Yankee fans when it comes to fickleness, attending games as more of a fashion statement and lack of general knowledge about their team. I knew exactly one Heat fan pre decision.

If anything, I thought it was obvious that Lebron learned from what happened 4 years ago and did everything he could to keep this from being a spectacle. Cleveland sports fans should be about as happy as they've been in years. At least now there is some semblance of hope for one of their teams being able to win a championship. I doubt the Browns or Indians are going to be able to offer up any hope of that in the near future.

My general level of apathy towards sports has grown over the past ten years or so. I think it started around the time T.O. was leaving SF and Brett Favre was leaving the Packers. That is around the time I remember sports journalism taking the turn towards the hype/tabloid style reporting.

I agree that the Cavs have the best chance of winning a title short term but don't sell the Browns or Indians short. The Indians will remain in the hunt so long as they keep Francona around. As they stand today I see them as an 80 something win team this year but if they get hot or make a few moves they can have a deep playoff run. If they get in the playoffs and a pitcher or two gets hot they have as good a chance as any team in baseball.

The Browns have quietly been stockpiling a ton of good, young players. They just need a QB to step up. Even w/o Gordon (who you probably need to write off) they have a very solid roster and 2 first round picks next year.

Yeah, the booing was really bad, glad it has been answered.

Not if they trade him as part of a package deal for Kevin Love....which is how it's looking.

Lebron is too old to wait around for Clevelands draft picks to develop.

They need to turn those future talents into NOW talents before Lebron heads over the hill.

I'm long over that too, BTW, but a lot of fans aren't given the woes of the current Browns team (which I hope is coming to an end). At any rate, Lebron's apology letter was well stated, and so I say "welcome home." I won't reference him as a "King" but I'm happy that the positive vibe in this region continues.

And yes, Gilbert should have provided a little more help too. Will they win a championship immediately with this second go round? Not sure. I wouldn't necessarily say in the first year of him being back, but I think it immediately puts the Cavs into playoff talk.
Cavs, if they manage to get Love would immediately be the team to beat in the east.

I doubt they'd win a championship their first year given how tough the west is....but they'd certainly be in the hunt and then it'd be up to fate, chemistry and additional trades to see if they win one.

Now if Love goes to the Bulls.....then Clevelands path back to the Finals doesn't look so good.

Frankly I think the current Bulls squad is better than Cleveland but Love would up-end that.

It wasn't anything the owners did.....if you bother to read Lebron's motivation.

For the sake of competitive balance I hope Love to the Bulls. It be nice for the Eastern Conference to not be pre determined for once.
