Anthony Davis has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and 3 1st round picks, including No. 4 overall pick in 2019 draft.

With this move and many others coming this offseason, the NBA landscape will have a new look next season, especially with the injuries the Golden State Warriors currently have. Stay tuned.

3 1st round picks are brutal to give away. Brandon Ingram is suffering from blood clots so not a bad trade on that 1. Lonzo is not playing to his potential maybe he matures better in the Pelican team.

Anthony Davis is injury prone himself so they need another start to make a big 3.

I would be ok with this normally, but is Davis even going to stay more than one season? And is LeBron, kindasorta on the downswing of his great career, going to be able to stay healthy? Groin injuries like his, especially at his age, are no joke.

I agree with Mr. Ryu, giving up those picks especially the fourth pick this year is kind of brutal.

But still, AD is one of the best players in the league. Cautiously optimistic.

The NBA goes into total Soap Opera mode as soon as the on-court gaming is done.

AD's agent is Rich Paul who is the childhood best friend of Lebron. AD and Chris have stated that AD wants to be a Laker.

Maybe Melo joins in a veteran contract.

Meh I actually think the Lakers got a steal with this trade while the Pelicans got hosed. Let me explain.
The NBA draft is not like the NFL draft. In the NFL, the draft goes 7 rounds, with plenty of great talent in the later rounds. The NBA draft, not as deep. This years draft has maybe 4 or 5 projected great players.
As long as the Lakers have LeBron, they will never be bad enough to get a high lottery pick so those 3 first round picks probably won’t be great players.
They should have held out for Kuzma, a proven scorer who is only 23 years old

I highly doubt the Lakers would of gave that much and not think long term. The Lakers will take care of him and also AD just purchased a nice home in L.A. about a year ago. Plus in the L.A. market, money will pour in, with the James/Davis show at staples, merchandise etc. Magic Johnson tweeted that the Lakers have 30 million of cap space for free agents. The Lakers could certainly become a viable threat if all goes well. Next year looks very compelling already.

This would’ve been a great trade for the Pels had it just been the 3 first rounders.
This is a steal for the Pels if Davis ends up leaving after this coming season.
IMO, way to much to give up for a guy that has an injury history.

Agreed. IF Davis can stay healthy for a whole season, this could be something special. AD's health history would say no.....
