I know, its only 4 games into his career, but he is averaging more turnovers than assists, shoots 33% fg, 5% 3 pt, 8 ppg, 4 apg. 30 minutes per game.
He was going to be the 1st overall pick if not for Victor, and the hornets didnt get him so he went #3. Portland could have traded him plus future picks for 2 all stars if they wanted to when his stock was still high, since draft boards had him at #2. They could have had a big 3 with dame.
This might be really bad for portland if he turns out to be a bust and lost dame. They chose promised future over proven loyalty. If he continues to play like this, he doesn't have the pg skills to be a pg (3 pt shooting, passing) , doesnt have the size or 3 point shooting to be a sg.
It's much, much, much too early to draw any conclusions. Scoot Henderson is 19 years old, a rookie, and has only played 4 regular season games.

And that's part of the problem. Westbrook really does better as a starter, not sixth man. But you cant pay Harden the max he wants and tell him come off the bench as well. So he has to start. He's the better PG so that means Westbrook has to play the off guard position. You are not getting the best Westbrook when he doesnt have the ball in his hands. He's not a guy who will move without the ball. So really not sure what the end game is here for the Clips. Not to mention playing all 4 at the same time means either PG or Kawhi has to play the 4. Ten years ago they MAYBE could have pulled that off...now after all the injuries and miles? Heck no.

From what I understand all of them can bolt after this season. They have a new stadium opening next season. So I guess its all or nothing this year.
Only paul George is a all star. Kawhi, harden, westbrook are not all stars anymore. This is not the big 4. Clippers window is closed already.
Kawhi could still be an all star. If you look at his stats they are not off much from his Toronto season. All the load management and endless injuries are his problem. If the Clippers start out strong and he average 26 a game he could make the all star team. But his value is in the playoffs. When he is on, he is unstoppable. But I think his problem is both him and PG13. They are real comfortable playing in LA. Kawhi was trying to play his way out of Toronto. He did. Now winning another title is not that important. They can sit by the pool, enjoy the SoCal winters. Adding Harden who is not that motivated either. I don't see how they get past the better teams in the west.

Harden is a Shooting Guard just as much as a Point Guard, so let Westbrook play Point Guard seeing as that's the only role he's good at....
After 21 games he is averaging 36.7 fg%, 26.8% 3 pt. Those are bot good numbers, if his prime gets to 41%fg, 31% 3 pt, he will just be a starter at best. At his size he must shoot 35% 3 pt to be decent.
