The mountain really needs one of the big storms that drops 8' of wet snow in a couple of days. Like the storm that broke the plows a couple of seasons ago.

Persistent forecast through March, bummer. I guess you all will have to hope for a damp summer to help keep a lid on the wildfire season. On a postive note, weather forecasts are often inaccurate, perhaps the jetstream will shift to a more favorable pattern sooner, rather than later.

I love how sometimes even when a huge storm is hitting the PNW Bend manages a period of blue sky and sunshine.

Can't wait to move from this dreadfully wet VA climate.

Bend has been mild this winter. Not much hitting us although last night I thought the roof might get blown off.

Well the suns visit was brief. Back to snow and wind for the day. Next week we are back to warmer temps.

Coming from Colorado, seeing it rain here in January is kinda weird. At least I don't have to shovel rain.

Getting heavy rain like last night and this AM in mid winter is weird. Glad it changed to snow.
