"Seriously, CO2 is not a pollutant" is satirical? Gee, and I thought police were honest.

BTW, for others who choose not to read the linked article, it's about comparing relative levels of CO2 to SO2 for the purpose of predicting future eruptions.

The article did refer to C02 as a pollutant and to not be alarmed because the amounts are small, so that part of my post is safe to say not satirical. Maybe it is because of my years as a police officer I was able to pick up on that where maybe the average person may have missed.

Do you know the earth started out with more CO2 than now.

The article said that the volcano's CO2 emissions were small compared to anthropogenic emissions, but they never used the word pollutant. I don't know, can we think of any emissions that aren't pollutants? I don't consider the words to be synonyms. However, in fact both SO2 and CO2 are indeed considered pollutants by the legal definition. The supreme court ruled that way on CO2, btw.

So the Supreme Court was right in the Dred Scott decision? SCOTUS make many wrong decisions. After all, they are only lawyers in black robes. In no way is C02 a pollutant. Please explain how it is a pollutant when plants need it to breathe? Without C02 there is no life. It’s like saying O2 is a pollutant.

For all you CO2 fans.

Go to your garage - make sure the door is closed. Start your car. Let us know how that works out after awhile.

I believe that your car produces carbon MONOXIDE, not CO2. But your post gave me a laugh!
(And increased the claptrap level).

He is correct. CO2 is a natural, normal and neccessary part of the carbon cycle, NOT a pollutant, any more than O2 is.

Seriously, though your posts could do with a whole lot less "agenda" and at least some truth.
