Not to mention a load of other events. As one example, my wife had to choose between the Stallions and David Sedaris at the concert hall. I can always catch the Stallions another day.

How was attendance at the Stallions USFL game? I was in ATL most of the weekend and didn't catch any of it. I saw a later game and attendance was, well let's say, there wasn't a parking problem.

i'd guess memphis and birmingham both had in the 15,000-20,000 range for their 2 home games.

Seems like attendance is down this year.

Maybe if they keep winning it will get better though.

Attendance definitely looked a little down last night. Would guess in the 8-12K range.

You also had Alabama's A-Day game at 2 pm in Tuscaloosa 45 minutes to the west and Talladega going on 45 minutes to the east, both of which are HUGE draws and probably have a decent amount of fan overlap. Not to mention a Janet Jackson / Ludacris concert nextdoor at Legacy Arena.

Having said taht, I think it might be better for the league if the Stallions aren't as dominant as they've been. Yesterday's game was pretty embarrassing.

Yeah, those other events definitely overlapped. That team was bad in Tampa and their coach is not the best, so they were due a blowout coming up against the best team.

There was also a St Paul and the Broken Bones concert at the Lyric and Wilco at Avondale Brewery.
