From what I read of articles relating to the guy filing the lawsuit, it's a money grab thing. I don't FOX is much "concern" about the suit doing any damage to what they have. He knew about what FOX was preparing to do back in the beginning and now waits to all the teams have players to announce the lawsuit. All the teams, staff and players are about to set up in Birmingham in three weeks. Perfect timing, right.

Are you planning to catch a USFL game this spring/summer?

I read there are 25 players with ties to Alabama schools drafted into the league.

I think I'll wait until the June before going to a game. Hopefully by that time the teams have had a chance to come together and play some decent football. I'll catch games on TV at first.

i'll probably go to the opening game next week. and maybe a couple other stallions games after that. tickets are cheap and no assigned seats, which suggests they're not expecting huge crowds (nor are they relying on ticket sales for the league's success). i'm guessing it might be similar to a UAB game.

now the big test will be weather... it rains a TON here, especially in the spring. and thunderstorms are already in the forecast for Saturday.

Heavy rain Sat. morning earlier and late morning. Game is at 6pm. Hopefully it will have stop by then.

Game is pretty good..There was a nice tourism plug for City during the commercial break.. I have been to Birmingham several times.. Gets better with each visit...
