Hello,

I'm wondering what some of the best neighborhoods are for first-time buyers in the Boise, ID area. This can include Star, Meridian, Eagle, Caldwell, etc.

I'm basically looking for nice, safe neighborhoods that are both walkable and affordable. The more nearby amenities the better. Parks and family resources are bonuses.

Thanks for your help!

-Melissa

Size doesn't matter, budget between $100 to $350 would be ideal.

Wow, $100,000-$350,000? That is a huge, huge range. $350,000 will put you in many of the nicest areas in Boise. $100,000 will barely get you anything anywhere in Ada County. So, basically, a more firm ideal price range will dictate a lot where to buy. Also, do you want a large yard or does that matter? New house vs. old? What kinds of activities do you like? Where will you work? All of these factors will help point to an area.
