Polymath and raconteur David Berlinski is at it again, challenging the shibboleths of contemporary science with his inimitable blend of deep learning, close reasoning, and rapier wit. In Science After Babel he reflects on everything from Newton, Einstein, and Gödel to catastrophe theory, information theory, and the morass that is modern Darwinism.
In Get Trump: The Threat to Civil Liberties, Due Process, and Our Constitutional Rule of Law, Alan Dershowitz—#1 New York Times bestselling author and one of America’s most respected legal scholars—analyses the unremitting efforts by political opponents of Donald Trump to “get” him—to stop him from running in 2024—at any cost."]
I just finished reading King of Blues/Rise and Reign of BB King by Daniel DeVise.
To think he was sterile, couldn't impregnate any woman and yet he had 15 children. He had sex with untold number of women while performing, and they came to him, one after one, Claiming that the child was his, without any paternity/DNA test. He didn't question it. He spent millions over the years on his 15 children and many grandchildren, and you can imagine the circus when he died, making claims to his estate.
He performed in 88 countries over the years, right up to his 88th birthday. He'd do 200-300 gigs a year.
Midway thru his music career, to the end, he mostly attracted a white audience.
Emil Kapaun—priest, soldier and Korean War hero—is a rare man. He is being awarded the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest military award, and is also being considered by the Vatican for canonization as a saint.

Throughout our country, atrocities are taking place in doctor’s offices and hospital operating rooms. Physically healthy children and adolescents are being permanently disfigured and sometimes sterilized. Those youth have announced they’re transgender, and we—their parents, teachers, therapists, and doctors—are supposed to at once agree with their self-diagnosis and take a back seat as they make the most consequential decision of their lives: to alter their bodies in order to, we are told, “align” them with their minds.
The title of US Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s new book, The Wuhan Cover Up, does not really represent the scope and nature of this seminal work. This book is the most comprehensive historic summary and indictment of the history of the United States’ biowarfare/biodefense program ever written.
