Hey All I am planing to move to Boston in febuary i got a job in down town boston. any advise on save neighbourhoods close to down town where i can look for a house?

A lot would depend on your income and what your looking for. I grew up in the suburb of Winchester where you can catch a train for an 8 mile ride to Boston, then hop the MTA to your destination. I believe that train also goes to Woburn another 4 or 5 miles out.

I agree with Gaffer's first sentence. In order to make good suggestions about areas that would fit you best, we need info on your housing budget, what kind of neighborhood or town you'd prefer (suburban, kind of urban, want a large yard, want to be able to walk to a variety of shopping, etc.), the longest you'd like your commuting time to be, and whether you'd like to use public transit.
