I've been hoarding some of the plastic water bottles and soda bottles that I've bought recently, thinking that I will recycle when I get the chance. But now I think there must be a way I can sell these bottles in Boston? They're like those 1 liter bottles. I'm sure there is some place they can be sold in Boston, instead of just donated for recycling, but I couldn't find anything by Googling. Anyone care to help me out?

The soda bottles should have a 5 cent deposit on them. You should be able to turn them in at the stores you bought them at to get that 5 cent deposit back. So for every 20 soda bottles you have, you'd get $1 back in cash. Otherwise, those bottles have no value to them.

BTW how much do you think that your used water and soda bottles are worth? How many of them have you gathered? And why do you think that someone else would want to BUY them from you?

Thanks! I had no idea about the 5 cent deposit. Well, I started saving bottles that I'd used precisely because I know my former neighbor made money from selling them - I just lost touch with her so I didn't know how she did it. It must've been the way you mentioned.
