Yup, honestly I wouldn't want to live anywhere within a mile from either BU or northeastern.

Me either...now.

When I was 19-21 or so, I had the time of my life there.

Universal Hub | All Boston, all the time

Not the safest. Not the worst but leans more dangerous than safe.

Was gonna post about this. Yep OP, murder down the street very very recently. Take that into consideration.

Overall, I just don't really like the area either. Crime aside.

Right, if it wasn't so close to Northeastern and the hospitals it would have no appeal at all. It really is a dump.

I thought of this thread too when I heard that. It's about a block over from the street the OP was considering.

I'm pretty sure I bought drywall repair supplies from that gentleman too. What a shame

In September 2015 A gangbanger was eating at the TGIF Fridays in Mission Hill with his girlfriend when a rival gang banger ran in very quickly and stared him down ...he then ran out the restaurant...gang member who was eating bolted out of the TGIF Fridays and up to the parking lot behind the building. That is where the other gang member was awaiting him and shot him...17 times, fatally.

Three men from Roxbury Lynn and Natick between ages 19 and 21 were arraigned..

H-Block members charged with execution-style murder in a Mission Hill parking lot | Universal Hub
