No more schrod no more symphony no more winter ?
I mean...I don’t eat seafood, I went to the symphony once in third grade on a field trip, and last winter Boston got 11/12 inches of snow.

You can't get schrod at Dini's any more but Greg's on Mount Auburn St takes you right back to 1970. Symphony is always a big deal. It was supposed to be part of the Boston character years ago, especially the Friday afternoon concerts attended by ladies of a certain class who might first meet at Stearns's glove counter or have lunch at the Ritz, an image as dated as a Helen Hokinson cartoon.

Winter really has changed and the milder it gets the more people complain about the cold.

No.

B + 15 is a Bachelors degree plus 15 additional credits

M + 15 is a Masters degree plus 15 additional credits

and so on

I have a master's degree (M.Ed) and I'm certified (in Texas) for EC-12 Sped, 4-8 Math, and ESL. I have at least 5 years' teaching experience in grades 7-12. I've worked in both San Antonio and Houston ISD so I'm familiar with the challenges of teaching in an inner-city school.

I do plan to sell my car before I move so car/parking expenses wouldn't be an issue - only ensuring I had reliable public transportation.

Also, I love seafood and I'm fine with cold winters (I also lived in Germany and Minnesota for a while).

It sounds like the minimum you'd be making is 83k to 88k. You'll be fine.

Not bad. Not bad at all, particularly when considering summers off and a pension upon retirement.
