But for an article that says she faces "calls to resign", there was no call to resign. Not one person in the article was quoted, aside from Tweets which also didn't call for her resignation. I actually searched the article for the word "resign"-it's not in the article. Actually, a google result of "Julia Mejia resign" yields no result on her or this incident.

I wouldn't say this is a 'resignation' offense but a public apology and a private one- directly to the family-is in order.

As BFD said, there's going to be zero pressure to resign.
