You are clearly triggered by this and it's just kind of funny.

I haven't been to Burlington in a long time but the last time (probably 2010ish) I was there people weren't getting killed.

It was an article that popped up on boston.com, i posted it here as it intrigued me and others engaged. Crime seems to be up everywhere. People want to turn a blind eye to it and say, oh no big deal. The world is simply changing and it's affecting good ol' Burlington,VT sadly.

Here's another for Montpelier:

You find crime funny? Ok. Not my sense of humor. Seems a bit off to me to find crime funny or fun, but there are loads of Krime Kinksters on this site. Ew.

And yes, if you look at most hree year periods in Burlington VT there will be murders. There were murders when I lived there in the 90s. Pretty much anyplace there are people there are murders. Burlington, and VT in general, are very safe and WAY below the National average.

You're right though, the world is changing, or the USA is, we've become progressively more safe as a Nation over the last several decades according FBI compiled data. I guess perhaps some Krime Kinksters don't like that. It makes me glad I'm not living in the 80s or 90s when the crime rates, especially violent crime, were much higher.

Much more. There is even data on this site to show it.

I am not a moron, I don't go by feeling, or new broadcasts, or blogs pretending to be news like some. I look at the data and professional analysis of the data.

The FBI publishes the data, there is a lot out there if you actually want to learn. The FBI data shows a 43% DECREASE in violent crime between 1993 and 2021. Decrease.

Things were getting a lot better but then the most expensive fentanyl overdose in history happened and took many cities back to their all-time high. And instead of doing something about it many politburos including our very own are doubling down on defundabolishing police and decriminalizing crime.

From what I understand the morale in that department is on the ground, and they are having a hard time recruiting (like most others). We're dealing with some real rocket scientists in these far left progressives. Their goal isn't an orderly society, their goal is to agitate.
