And so there's no confusion:

"A woman was seriously hurt after being stabbed late Thursday on the Boston Common and then walking into the Park Street MBTA station, according to authorities in the city."

"Initial reporting based off of information from Boston EMS said that the stabbing happened at the Park Street Station, but Transit Police said that the act of violence actually happened outside on the Common and the woman walked to the T stop."

Will we hear from the dimwits on here who claim to walk through the Common at night fairly regularly and say it's safe?
Yes we will lol. I wouldn't say dimwits at all btw but wishful thinkers and optimists. Walking through the common after 11 pm you open yourself up to these things in a way you very clearly don't when you walk *around* the common especially to the north, south, and west.

Getting paywalled on the Herald site. Are both links for the same incident? The stabbing at the homeless place at 6 Hartford Street in Dorchester?

I mean these are not normal people we're dealing with here. People with PTSD and mental illness...for all we know there were drugs and alcohol involved. Sad, but not exactly surprising
