Would you rather inherit a 200,000$ tear down or nothing?

I don't know how many recent African immigrants you know but I know quite a few and all of them are pretty rich. Their families back home are pretty rich to begin with.

It is not easy to come to the US from Africa, a poor African immigrant walks to Europe (or more likely pays some criminal to take them to Europe) doesn't take an airplane to the US.

Would you rather inherit a $200,000 teardown and have to spend $200,000 to make it livable and pay astronomical property taxes every year, or be given a city apartment worth at least $450,000 or more likely in the seven figures now that old bricks are being torn down and replaced with luxury townhouses absolutely free of charge because 30% of $0 income is $0?

I know quite a few actually - African, Asian, Latin American, all were dirt-poor when they came here but they are doing quite well now. And by dirt-poor I really mean dirt-poor, family of four in living tiny one bedroom apartments and kids attending urban schools with gangs, metal detectors and all the other goodies.

The 200,000$. I have lived next to the building you talk about and most of them are absolute @#$%. You can sell the teardown and get the 200k.

It makes $200,000 difference.
I rather be poor with 200k than be poor with 0k

Well I didn't get anything from anyone to date. This is a pretty pointless conversation. I think we can see that there are plenty of white people who do not benefit from the inheritances that you seem to think they do.

I do as a matter of fact - their kids are now engineers, doctors, scientists and in one case an owner of a startup worth high eight figures. You see, it was do or die for them, they were not rocking in a comfortable taxpayer-provided safety hammock.
