I'd believe it...it does seem like a single family home in West Roxbury must be getting out of reach for many city employees these days. Most of the cops i know that live there are older, from there and have lived there for a while. I just can't see a cop paying 900,000-1,000,000 for a 3 bed, 2 bath house there at this point. I know a few looking to move actually but it's not the best time to buy...good time to sell but you have to have somewhere to go.
