I wanted to see if there are any fans of 'City on a Hill' on Showtime? Although I wasn't around in Boston in that decade, I definitely appreciate Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge's consistently excellent performances.

Yea I watch it it’s pretty good wish it were shot in Boston. They could’ve done a little better in injecting some levity at times

Jackie is a 'character' for sure. Sometimes I wonder if each PD has a guy similar to him. Glad you like the show!

Agreed. It's definitely a serious show but I appreciate it. I noticed that your location says Baltimore, I'm a huge fan of the Wire as well.

Are you talking about Rachel (Sarah Shahi)? If so, I don't recall seeing her in Season 2. I haven't watched Season 3 yet so I can't stay.

I may just binge-watch from Season 1. Due to COVID, production had stopped so there is a huge gap between Seasons 1 & 2 (no production in 2020).

Yea this show had the potential to be the wire but they chose not to shoot in the City of Bosotn.

But I will say Aldis Hodge's accent and demeanor is spot on. Kevin Bacon is amazing.

The clothes are very very accurate. That's like the most bizarre thing to be precise on but I swear I've seen pictures with and family member switching some of those exact outfits on back in the 90s.

NYC, Yonkers, other parts of Westchester NY and maybe NJ. Notice you basically yet to see a triple decker. They only shot some key scenery shots in Boston. Itd look more Boston shooting in Irvington NJ or Paterson NJ than Yonkers IMO.

Even 'Beacon Hill' is somewhere in Brooklyn
