Nooo! This is horrible!! Gatti found dead in Brazil! What a year, so many losses!! What a warrior he was, he gave so much to boxing! Death sounds odd? Possibly killed?

Unbelievable! First Alexis Arguello, now Gatti. Very tragic. Gatti was a great warrior in the ring.

Rest in peace Arturo Gatti.

Gatti, was the man. I loved the battles had had with Mickey Ward. RIP.

Default RIP Arturo Gatti

He was one of my favorite athletes of all time. A real blood and guts warrior with a huge following in New York/New Jersey/Montreal. He represented the Italians to the fullest with heart and passion. R.I.P. Arturo Gatti.

that is sad. I would never use the word "great" when referring to Gatti as I think he was waaaaaaaaay overhyped. His battles with Ward were good, but I would never consider him a "great" boxer. He got hit way too much.

Very sad. Arturo was a true warrior and gave it his all in every performance. He will be missed.

Latest news says his wife is being held for questioning. Apparently he was strangled with the strap of a purse and hit over the head with a blunt object of sorts. Her two statements to police were contradictory.

Sounds like they had a fight, and while he was in a deep sleep from being drunk, someone walked in (wife let the person in), and some thug strangled Gatti. Just a damn shame.
