Quickdraw, have you checked out Synergy in Williston. It's new and I hear it's very clean and modern.

No, thank you for the info, I'll check it out.

Right now I belong to planet fitness and it's ten bucks a month. I use mainly ellipitcals and treadmills.

My only complaint is that the men's locker room is very small, but you can't complain for ten bucks.

Unfortunately, if there are more than five guys in the locker room at one time, we get to know each other a little too well..........almost biblically.

hi lori, i know its a buyer's market as you have suggested, but i'm wondering if you or anyone else thinks the heatherfield townhomes that are on the market are overpriced, way overpriced, reasonable for what you get, or are a great bargain for the price?....i saw a couple new ones advertised at 375,00 for the series 2 (higher end interior detailing) homes...is that too high for those?....maybe you and others can let me know what you think of their pricing versus current market rates around the area....since there are so many empty homes in the greater burlington area, can't you offer a bit lower and might they accept that offer so not to lose you as a buyer to another available property on the market?

Of course you can offer anything you want.....it doesn't hurt to start out low. I would push it if I were you. I agree that they are not in a good position right now. I just don't know how negotiable they are. You have to find that out. Also, there is an already built one listed at 74 Hummingbird Lane for $439K. I would assume that those folks are not in a good position either, since you can get a new one with nice details for $375K. So that might be something you could push on, as well.
If you really want the deal of the century, I think this one comes close at $340K.

I went to see it and it is very nice.....the neighborhood is amazing.
As far as the market right now, are you talking about the "new townhome" market specifically? If so, I think the Heatherfield townhomes are fairly priced. If you are talking about the greater market, you can do much, much better right now. There are some very nice, rather large homes in nice communities in South Burlington for great prices. It's very surprising what you can get right now in the way of a single-family home in South Burlington. Here are a few that I've been keeping my eye on:
