We're moving to Mallett's Bay with a 16 foot utility trailer and I'm not sure I have space to park it. Know of a place (or way to find) storage space for such a monster in the area? Indoor, outdoor, doesn't matter. Thank you!

I live in the bay as well. There is not much for storage in the Malletts Bay area. I don't know if Mallett's Bay Self-Storage has room to store a trailer. They are located at 115 Heineberg Drive, Colchester, VT 05446 (802) 864-0899. They don't have a website. Essex may be the best option. Burlington - Essex - Vermont Outdoor Storage - Boats RV's Cars Trucks Trailers This place does outdoor storage for trailers, RV's and boats. If this place does not work out, do a Google search for Essex, vt storage and a bunch of places will pull up.

Outstanding, thanks. The thing is 9 feet tall so a normal garage door won't do the trick. Sounds like the RV/Boat place might have potential. Thanks again!

Oh, and since you're in town, can you give me any info/details/observations/opinions on the E Lakeshore Dr area?

We live near East Lakeshore Dr. East Lakeshore is located right on the lake. On the Lake side of the road, most of the homes are lake cottages. The newer ones are all season while the older ones are more of a three season home. The road has a fair amount of traffic. It is the shortcut from Rt2 to the Bay area. There are a few high end developments off of East Lakeshore (Bay Circle). What part of East Lakeshore will you be living?

We're on the lake near the intersection of Williams Rd. Lake cottage. We've only spent a few hours in the area and don't know alot of specifics. We know where our 5th grader is going to school, but can't figure out which school for our Kindergartener... Union Memorial or Porter's Point? Any idea? Thanks a bunch!

In order to avoid sounding like an ignoramus on the school thing, I must add that we just got the place last night and do plan on calling the schools...

This section of town would be Porters Point School. Welcome to the neighborhood.
