Apparently PayPal Pro is now commonly putting reserves on merchant accounts - like 30% of each credit card transaction for 90 days (in addition to a monthly fee and transaction fee). This hold is a rolling practice, not a probationary practice. Do any of you use PayPal Pro to process online payments? If so, why? It seems like this practice wouldn't be acceptable to most small businesses - or to any businesses.
Has anyone found a reasonable alternative to PayPal to accept online payments?
