Do you mean 2011? The school you are attending should be able to help you.

Default Hi

You wrote me and I thought maybe you can help... sorry for asking, but maybe you could give me some links on the web-sates where real works are offered.. I'm not good at looking for a job in the internet, and I almost always go to the wrong sates, because I don't need really serious work, I cant work at the serious firm or something like that. I am allowed to be shop assistant, waiter, somebody in the hotels( I dont know how to call that), lifeguard at the beach or aqua-park and so on. I have many talents, I speak well, and I have a resume. I tried to send it somewhere, but I got no answer. the time goes by and I need help, if it is not hard.
Thank you for reading that.

You might have a chance getting hired as a server, busser, host person at a restaurant. The only city I'd recommend for someone in your position would be San Francisco.

Why?

The main reason is you won't need a car to get around. If you go to Los Angeles or San Diego it will be difficult living without a car. I think your chances of being hired in a restaurant are much higher in San Francisco too. You can pretty much forget about getting a job in retail stores and hotels because they look for people who live in San Francisco permanently unless you're a student.

Rent is expensive in San Francisco. Many people rent a room and share an apartment with other people. This is common and if you're young, try searching student, so you'll live in a apartment full of students that you can relate too and hang out with.

Craigslist is a great website to find entry-level jobs and rentals.

Direct Links:

1. Jobs in SF: city of san francisco all jobs classifieds - craigslist

2. Apartment Rentals in SF: city of san francisco apts/housing for rent classifieds - craigslist

3. Room Rentals in SF: city of san francisco rooms & shares classifieds - craigslist

If you have anymore questions, just ask. I used to attend the University of San Francisco. I graduated this year. I'll be moving back to San Francisco sometime in spring. I can't wait, it's a great city, expensive as hell, but great.

What is your major?
Computer Science or Biomed you can get a job doing labwork or any computer related work. In addition, language schools often hire students to tutor second language aquisition. I would locate an immigrant population of your ethnicity and call the cultural affairs center. I think you may want to check the San Fernando Valley, Hollywood, or N. Hollywood. Large Population of Russians and/or Armenians.
