In present day society, that's valued more than someone who actually accepts harsh realities and plans for them... I look forward to having my own and living in peace/comfort and not working 10-12 hours a day to hand my money over to people who don't deserve it... It's an optimization problem. It's as simple as that... i guess yeah, my words can be kinda harsh and i guess I come across a certain way. I'm happy... One of the things I do quite often is take a break from my work/my trading and try to educate people on the economy and the world.. How it really works .. What I find most often is that people are brainwashed by the very people who take advantage of them the most... And thus, I find most often that their is no use in trying to help these people.. SO, i guess at age 24 .. Taking a break from securing my own financial well being and trying to help others prevent themselves from being taken advantage of hasn't resulted in the greatest wealth you mention ..
No, I didn’t misunderstand you at all, in any regard. All your individual merit, education, grasp of monetary theory, and hard work does not compensate for your obvious lack of understanding of the nature of humanity. You are too young to have developed much depth in that regard, but your manner conveys an unearned arrogance beyond simple youthful inexperience.

And no, I don’t consider your volunteering condescendingly to “educate people on the economy and the world.. How it really works” the kind of service and sacrifice that leads to formation of true character.

Nice ad hominem attack, never mind addressing any of the points he (or she) raised, never mind debating the substance of the post. Not that my comments are much better about you but I feel it needed to be said.

How about addressing and debating individual points?

Already did that ... perhaps you missed it in previous post. Nothing ad hominem about it. The quoted were shortened selections from his rambling defensive.

Why are some people so greedy?

Well, it's short-sighted to say he is cutting everything, when this not true.

Where is the media and all of those government unions complaining about Brown cutting the budget?

Is it because he is a democrat?
