If they have it so good, why aren't you in the same line of work?

Just think, you too could have feces thrown at you.

This is what Meg Whitman was trying to say when she said Moonbeam was beholden to unions.

B.S.

NOBODY whose salary is paid for by the taxpayers should get 8 weeks of paid vacation, with NO cap on accrual.

It's not "bitterness" that I didn't choose to be a prison guard. It's "bitterness" on having to pay their outrageous salaries and benefits. And "outrageous" is the correct term.

I tell you what, find a prison guard, invite him out for a cup of coffee, talk to him or her.

I could have, last year, partially agreed with you, but, I have over the past year gotten to know a few prison guards. What they have to say about their working conditions is interesting.

Interesting too for you conservative tea party republican types. 99% of prison guards share your political views, I find that darned humorous.

What the bloody hell? The total cash value of their current accrued vacation pay is $600 Million.

We are NEVER going to clean house at this rate. All we're doing is cutting off our nose to spite our face.

And your are actually naive enough to buy into everything they say as truth? Why don't you go talk to some inmates and get a different point of view. Such as how guards will sleep at the prison so they can collect overtime. The Prison Guards union is by far the most corrupt, god awful union in Ca and that say quite a lot. Arnold was the only politician willing to stand up to them and they actually tried to recall him because of it. It's pretty sad that people out there like you support such waste, fraud, and abuse because you're too wrapped up in your own ideological BS to see what a corrupt union this is.
