This is looking towards west to Interstate 5. The mountain (I don't know the name of it) is what separates the central valley from the coast. Directly east of Bakersfield is Morro Bay on the coast.

I always drive west on this 7th Standard Road, then hit I-5 north to the bay area and Monterey via CA-152 near Los Banos.

Perhaps, San Joaquin Valley, looking toward Santa Nella.

46 over to I-5 & the coast. That might be the San Benito Mountains.

Used to catch many Striped Bass at the 152 bridge, over San Luis Res Forebay, up to Pacheco Pass.

Ah Yes, that is the Temblor Range which can be accessed via Hwy 56 or Hwy 48. Those hills come alive in the Spring.
