Up the road I understand the beans planted in June are done and in and now bell pepper is planted for a fall crop...

Yep, mighty fine....

ps.. found me a liberal Canadian born Realtor, that understands water/soil micro climate to work with and a not so right wing loan fella in town.. Keep my $$ with folks that think straight when ever I can..

Nice. I was in Ventura today for work. Oxnard is considered the strawberry capital of the country. Also a lot of celery grown here too. I find it fascinating how California farmers have a major labor shortage this year.

I am happy for you, My wife made some the other night, with burger meat and cheese. Since my rule is: If someone cooks me dinner, I eat it without complaining. I ate it. but, I hate squash of all types.

Whaaatt?! Clearly you need me to cook it for you. Everyone says they hate x or y veggie until you let a veggie addict cook it. It's fun to watch the look on their face when they discover they actually like it.

Now that would get me into a whole different world of trouble! Maybe fried in bacon grease like I used to do to bread would work

Ahaha, well, wouldn't want to do that.

But just remember, just when you think you dislike a vegetable (or tofu, for that matter), let someone that hasn't eaten meat for 24 years prepare it. We usually have a few tricks up our sleeves (since we've had a LOT of practice lol).
