Nathan Burris has 'no regrets' over 2009 ambush slayings on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge - Inside Bay Area

"If I was in Texas, I'd be terrified," Burris said, laughing. "California is not real. The death penalty means nothing to me but time to hang out and do what I'm going to do."

He also said, because of appeals it would be 30 or 40 years before it would occur (he is right).

This state truly becoming the laughing stock of the country and world.

My guess is that after Bush and Perry, the world and much of the country probably laughs more at Texas than California. Also, most of the world doesn't have a death penalty and don't understand why we still do this far into the era of civilization. Puts us right up there with places like Saudi Arabia, China and Iran.

Good. Then you are saying the rest of your liberal Kalifornia friends are idiots? After all, they voted to keep the death penalty in this state.

Phil, since you are not a Liberal California (California is spelled with a C,, don't know if you had noticed that) you were in favor of ending the death penalty?

Wow. So you would rather live in a society more similar to Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia?

You would rather let America descend into a state similar to the type that our Armed Forces spent 100 years fighting against to protect the world from?

The greatest way we can honor the true spirit of the American military is to recognize the forces of fascism in America.

None of this is to say of course that the death penalty doesn't have its place in the most absolutely extreme cases, but the fact that you started out the sentence as "Good" is a little disconcerting.

This concern about the death penalty isn't in the top 69 things people who have problems with California think about. It's a couple of pages below cost of living, traffic, taxes, and illegal immigration.

The ramblings of a sociopathic murderer who will be spending the rest of his life locked in a 48 sq ft cage at San Q are so far down on my List of Cares, they might as well not be on it.

The fact that East Block DR inmates get 5 hours of yard per day and a shower every other day annoys me. I'd change that to one hour and one per week, but I'm not in charge of that stuff.

And all the hostess cupcakes they can eat, make doughie boys out of them. The Death Row inmates were opposed to banning the death penalty. Life is good on Death Row, and the chance of getting fried is low.

I would have preferred to see it banned and the inmates switched to the general population and life without possibility of parole., The cost savings to the state would have been substantial.

And, since DNA has been clearing innocents on death row, it gives other innocents a better chance of getting out, that is, if the state actually fried people.

Wow. Where to start. Nope. KALIFORNIA is a hell hole and if, HELL HOLE could be started with a C or K it wouldn't change.

The majority of this god forsaken state, KALIFORNIA, wants the death penalty. You liberal communists shoved down my throat Prop 30, saying the people have spoken.

Well, the people of KALIFORNIA with a communist K, have spoken. WE, that includes this black man, who is a conservative, want the death penalty.

This walking, breathing, waste of oxygen should be dead already. However, you COMMUNIST liberals wont let it happen.

What else do you want too know?

What is the difference between Kalifornia and the countries you named? This isn't a federal issue, its a state rights issue, so take your BS liberal communist Armed Forces arguement, probably a force you never served in, and save it.

Kalifornia is a liberal hell hole. Who has people such as the article mentioning, laughing at its liberals. They don't care about laws in this state, they laugh and mock you. Yet you think your liberal progressive ways are the best. Yes, I forgot, you liberals are smarter then the rest of us and you know what is better for the rest of this.

I gurantee this double murder is a registered democrat who would agree with your sick liberal mindset.
