Has to be San Bernardino, most of the Board of Supervisors seem to end their carriers/term in prison...or with some sort of charges and a plea bargain. And yet the next ones do the same things. Just too large and too many opportunities.

Los Angeles County is run poorly and you always hear of politicians being arrested for corruption.

Hard to judge since I only lived in one county: LA. In SoCal you often see on the recent news of corruption in certain cities such as the some Gateway cities of LA County: South Gate, Bell, Cudahy, Maywood, Vernon, Huntington Park and Lynwood. There are probably others that dont get media attention or maybe just a footnote in local news. Also you often hear about corruption in schools, some police departments, jails, churches and others from time to time. Maybe it is because it is a huge county there is always something that happens and more and more scrutiny.

Thanks for the laugh. heehee Oakland. But I would vote for Alameda county, I lived in Oakland, three years in the upper Fruitvale district off of Macarthur and almost four years near Macarthur and Telegraph and downtown. But that was in the 80's and early 90's.
