mind = blown people eat there.

the burger and fries are 100% flavorless. there are so many better options for food.

for starters, fat burger and 5 guys > the universe > In-N-Out. dead serious.

i've eaten at in n out a few times just so i could give it another try but no. just no. if you like that place u probably failed restaurant knowledge 101.

how can that place be packed? the only thing i can think of is the fact that it's cheap so people of "limited means" enjoy going there.

here's another example. the Clubhouse burger from McDonalds > anything from in n out.

Oh boy, this will rile people up. Not me, because I think In-N-Out is just OK and pretty much agree with you...but people in California are quick to defend them with everything they've got.

There are better burgers to be sure, but to say something from McDonald's is better tasting than anything at In N Out is just moronic and clearly an attempt to troll/rile people up.

I prefer In N Out to 5 Guys. I mean it's not like CA doesn't have other burger places, it's just to some people's taste. I realize you'd love a burger war here but I'll let other people respond, I think it's stupid.

ha. I actually preferred their fries to other burger places fries. I noticed they kinda dry out in your mouth and disintegrate but I hate greasy fries and those were not.

As for the burger, My preference for smaller chains is Shake shack>In N Out> Five guys.....then down low is the habit, meh.

I agree with the OP.

I moved here from another state and could not wait to see what all the fuss was about. I was stunned = mind blown at how bland and meh In-N-Out was.

No thanks

After living out of state for 4 years since returning to CA I am pretty sure I've I has in n out on average once a week for the last 13 months.

Not everyone has to like in n out. It's OK to be wrong.

I never understood why people rave about the place, either. I went there once and wasn't impressed with the burger/fries and never went back.
