It is debatable that whether sperm/egg are life and we are not going to get into that here.
BUT, we are killing life when we exist.
All life including Micros, Baterias, Virus, Molds who try to invade our body will be killed.
We have to kill them in order to survive.
We have to kill life and consume them in order to survive.

Please stop preaching MORAL on cruelty.
What is cruel more than killing life?

For people preaching cruelty, you are in deep dilemma. Be honest to self, either ways you are killing life. Your existence is killing life. If you kill self to save life, it is killing life.

So the answer to "What is the meaning of life?" = killing life?
Somewhat satisfyingly circular, yet somehow rather crass, in that classic Old Testament-y way.

Not the point.

I wasn't preaching anything. I was mentioning an interesting factoid, and recalling a quirky but entertaining celebrity. I have my doubts as to whether an all-fruit diet is all that healthy, myself.

I guess nobody cares about Dick Gregory anymore. He's still alive and kicking, though. Still his feisty self.

Not really a big deal. The extra cost is negligible unless you are on some kind of 12 eggs a day super protein diet.

Do families on a budget require eggs?
