Again, neither party has the monopoly on amnesty for illegals. BOTH democrats and republicans will use them to seek votes

Of course it's not. Both parties are guilty. As for George Bush and his amnesty proposal Americans shut down the lines to congress in protest so he backed off. However, in spite of public protest Obama gave a stay of deportation to millions of illegals with promises of permanent amnesty. The Democrats own this now.

No, congress did not follow through on their promise to secure the border. That didn't make Reagan an idiot. However, he was wrong to grant amnesty anyway. If you think that Hispanics are going to vote for the GOP if they promise amnesty then you'd be wrong. They will still vote Democrat because they are already promising amnesty among other issues that the Democrats stand for. It wouldn't be the Santa Maria Hispanics that voted Republican because of paying illegals less. They have a whole different agenda. Both Democrats and Republicans hire illegal aliens whether it be Santa Maria or some other city.

The second biggest money maker they have is illegals sending money over the border back to them. We give their poorest jobs and aid, and Mexico gets all the money. What Mexican president would want to upset that applecart? Meantime, all that money that should be circulating in American economy is lost to us. And then the Mexican president has the nerve to tell us how we should run our country!

Not all illegals are Hispanics, there are likely a fair number from other countries here also. There are criminal smuggling rings involved in bringing Asians over for the right price.
