The original proposal was LA to the Bay area. Then politics came in and it had to be altered to do favors for politicians and basically ruining any real time benefit from it's use. Now LA to LV would be really good IF it started IN LA, with a stop in OC and San Bernardino Counties.

Ahh well it is not expected to be done until 2029 and probably long after that. Not an immediate benefit except for some businesses in the Central valley. Strange, as how long does it take to drive through there in any event. Political gifts maybe?

i think it would benefit more starting from the Bay Area. I've run into a lot of people who shockingly still work in the Bay Area but live in the Valley.
