Yes, that's true. But note it's not "we" getting richer. It's a select class, many of which are not Americans. How much Chinese cash is there in SF?

Likely enough to collapse the scheme if it were to be plugged.

Recall to that if I owned a stream, and you needed water, you'd pay me what ever the hell I asked.

The crooked and morally bankrupt (and financially soon) CA politicians could care less if you died. They've got enough people who will pay any cost for the stream, which they and only they control.

Very un-American place is CA these days.

This water talk has become a lot less credible since the rain storm we've had lately. Also foreign purchases make up less than 10% of all purchases.

I believe you could make the Grand Canyon with Jumps of conclusion like that.

Don't make this about me - The evidence is all around. There is a town called Stockton, you can wiki it.

You'll need the flood in bible to get back from this financial drought.

Maybe you guys can build an ark? Make sure it has unisex bathrooms.. lol..

Stockton is in the middle of nowhere with an ailing economy that's dependent on people commuting to the Bay Area.... hardly a poster child for success. It literally has no industry.

Interestingly enough in most of Northern California the drought is over and all the reservoirs are back to normal.

Where on the list of CA largest cities does Stockton land?

What is a poster child? And what is a poster child of success? By no industry do you mean it's a fairly large town with a decent sized population?

Aren't forums fun...

Fresno and Modesto are also big, being big doesn't mean a place has a healthy economy. The Central Valley towns have been ****ty for at least the last 100 years. Agribusiness is nowhere near as prolific as it was when they were founded. Are you seriously trying to argue that Stockton is a good example of a California city? I could name the big 5: la, Oakland/sf/sj, and San Diego as examples of cities with strong diverse economies that won't go bankrupt anytime soon.

But back to Stockton - If you were to wiki it, so you had correct facts, as opposed to alternative facts, you'd see it has around 300k people.

A town of that size, located within the borders of California, which again can be wiki'd, seems like it would be a good example of a city in California.

But you know, come to think of it, I wonder if there may be others. Perhaps like San .... something... someone help me..
