I already moved to the Atlanta Area. I'm looking at buying a house for $500K that would be 2 million plus in my old hometown. That 1.5 million difference is enough to retire on.

Eh other parts of California only have burning hot weather. Other burning hot places are hotter generally except extreme places like death valley

Much of Southern Ca has even better weather than the Bay Area.

Most people don't.... And San Diego and SF (downtown) actually receive about the same amount of sunshine FYI.

I'm not saying San Diego is unlivable. Hell I've considered it: sure is a lot cheaper than the Bay Area.
