Lol. Too bad you can’t appreciate how incredibly funny it is to have a Chump supporter say there is something wrong with me ... in general ... but especially after accusing me of “embellishments and twisting of people’s words to start arguments“.

If “embellishments and twisting of people’s words to start arguments” is wrong, why do you support Chump? ... ... oh, never mind Kapha.

But really, you support a pathological liar based on his stated “policy positions”. You are willing to overlook his personal flaws, including of being a pathological liar, to believe what a liar says. That doesn’t strike you odd?

Can’t make this stuff up ...

Why is Cox robotically with Trump just because that jacka$$ is president?

Being a lackey of Trump—who constantly maligns this beautiful state—disqualifies Cox from being elected into California's highest office.

This race has been pretty clean and pretty quiet except for political ads but those are nothing compared to the excitement going on in the Georgia race between Brian Kemp and Stacey Abrams. Holy cow, there's been accusations of voter suppression, racial bias and all sorts of nasty things. Think I'll tune in tomorrow to watch that race since this one is in the bag for Newsom.

In what ways specifically is he a lackey for Trump? He said in an interview that he'd support the president where he agrees and not support him where he disagrees. Is every politician who shares the same party as the president--regardless of party or who is president at the time--a lackey?

In addition to Cox being anti-death penalty and Trump being pro, does Cox sound like Trump on the environment? Straight from Cox's site:

Quote:
John Cox supports clean energy efforts and that begins at home by driving an electric car. He opposes any new or expanded offshore oil drilling because he believe its important to focus on what we can do to ensure we protect California’s coastline, natural habitat and ocean waters.

As Governor, John Cox will work to continue California’s environmental stewardship by working to expand clean energy options.

Seems there are a lot of people that are voting for Newsom even though they know he’s failed us but they don’t want to vote for Cox just because he’s in the same political party as Trump.

This is a really narrow minded point of view. Cox has spent his entire campaign focusing on talking about the real issues affecting actual Californians . Meanwhile Newsom wants to talk about gay marriage , gun control and Trump .

If Newsom didn’t already have a horrible track record then I could see at least it would be let’s give him shot .

Soooooooooo.....you have nothing of substance to add to the actual thread topic of the governor's race, just want to keep using the word Chump for Trump. Scraping the bottom of the TDS barrel. Freaking hilarious!

Cox has spent a good deal of his failed political career saying stupid $hit like this:
  • Social Security was an overreaction to the Great Depression
  • Supply-and-demand will improve the health care crisis
  • Schools forfeit funds if they expose kids to gay propaganda
  • School choice avoids transvestite teachers
  • Save “snowflake babies”: no experiments on frozen embryos
  • There is no ‘right of privacy’ in the Constitution

Yeah he's just perfect for California

Cox pandered mightily to Trump voters in order to win them over in the California Primary not too long ago.

May 10, 2018: "Republican gubernatorial candidate John Cox this week made his strongest public statement yet in an attempt to appeal to California's Trump supporters ahead of Election Day on June 5.

Cox, who didn't vote for Donald Trump for president, said at a debate Tuesday night that he regrets that decision. "I wasn't sure he's a conservative. I am now, he's a conservative."

Cox also expressed strong support for Trump's campaign promise of building a U.S.-Mexico border wall, saying "this is about criminals and human trafficking, drugs, guns. So yes, a wall is important."

The Washington Times - Wednesday, June 6, 2018

California’s GOP candidate for governor John Cox is embracing President Trump’s agenda and support, declaring Wednesday, I’m with him.” https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...hn-cox-backs-/

"Cox’s extreme stance on abortion (no exceptions for rape or incest) puts him at odds with the 70% of California voters who support the state’s current policies." https://sandiegofreepress.org/2018/0.../#.W9vWS62ZNE4
