How? Soros was actually a Nazi helper (which he claims he did to survive). You hate Adelson just because he's rich. Big difference here.

Never thought I'd hear someone say "better a slave..."

There is also a vested interest by that poster to keep Democrats in power, their pension check depends on it.

You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. Both Adelson and Soros are rich so your observation as to why I hate Adelson is odd to say the least. Soros was not a Nazi helper, that's been debunked repeatedly and I'm not interested in going over it with you.

Soros is about as 'dangerous' as the Kochs, the Mercers and yes, Shelly Adelson. You can't jump in here attacking Soros unless you are willing to criticize his counterparts on the right and even more importantly, admitting that in reality none of them are the problem, the Citizens United decision is the problem.

Sad that one small section of the state pretty much rules what goes on in the rest of the state. Maybe it really is time to let them break off from the rest of the state.
Maybe if you want to lose half of the state's economy... sure. You think it's bad now, what would things be like without the revenue from our region??

When bad things happen in a red city/state, it's blamed on the individuals (civilians) involved - even better if they're people of color and/or immigrants. But when something is going badly in a blue city/state, it's all the government's fault. Makes sense, right?

Surprised to see a response from a comment I made back in June. No matter.

I'm curious as to how you think we'd be losing your half of the economy? We would be two separate states. Right? And when you think about it, wouldn't it be nice for people along the far west coast of California? You wouldn't have to carry the burden of us poor fools on the eastern half (that is if the state is divided into two separate states running north to south and not east to west).
