You are aware that the U-Hauls are twice as expensive to leave California as it is to rent on the way in?
Perhaps, Gov. Gavin can have the legislature pass a regulation to make that more equitable?
Dems never even acknowledge the truth that middle class tax payers are leaving the state. I expect no help from him. I'm going next month to scout out Phx and Prescott. My elderly dad is the only reason I'm still here. In the mean time I'm getting my exit plan together. Luckily I bought my place in 02 so I can cash out and afford the uhaul and can start anew in a state with a lot lower COL and live somewhere politicians don't put illegals and homeless before it's tax paying law abiding citizens

From everything I've read it's people earning less than 50k a year who are leaving the state. 50k is not even considered middle class in California https://www.businessinsider.com/midd...s-state-2017-9

My vote is anti-anyone-who-supports-Trump, period.

Cox reluctantly joined the pro-Trump camp. That alone is enough to vote against Cox.

That is the middle class in the USA. In CA it can't afford it. The middle class is shrinking and the poor and rich are growing, the poor more and the upper middle class is even struggling in some areas of CA. This particularly applies to those who are not long time residents and bought a home long ago. Interestingly many articles have shown that large number, nearly 50%, want to move but can't yet.

I really can’t remember the last time a Democrat CA politician even mentioned the middle class .
Seems the strategy is to pander to the poor in public and then the wealthy elites in private .
The middle class in CA Isn’t big enough and they don’t have the money to donate or give kickbacks to the politicians so they aren’t relevant to the politicians .

They are a lot more focused on “protecting vulnerable immigrants “ aka illegal aliens than middle class Americans .

I guess this is why Gruesome isn't even bothering campaigning. He knows his base would rather live in a liberal HellHole instead of voting for Cox or anybody with a distant affiliation with a guy that's improving this country pathetic.. you all deserve to live amongst the poop and used needles

I think a Cox win would be good for a place like Orange County especially Central CA that is more republican .

In L.A those we have Yoga Pants Garcetti that would just be resisting him . It’s a shame because things could be decent .
Still would like to see a Cox win . I do feel a lot of people are fed up but with the bad policies in CA and the huge waste of tax payer money .

Well that sure sounded good...except for the fact that the poor are the least likely to vote of any group in the US. https://money.cnn.com/2015/08/05/new...hts/index.html

If that's their 'strategy' it sure is a crappy one, dontcha think? And every politician in every state panders to the ultra wealthy, that is not unique to California, or to democrats

The simple question I have to Democrats is are you happy with how the state is being run? Are you satisfied and in agreement with the inflated car reg fees, high income tax and out of control spending on boondoggle projects? If you answered no then please tell me why you will vote for Newsom?

This state has been controlled primarily by democrats for decades and this state is in its worse shape than ever before.
