It would not be the first time and Prop 13 has been changed in the past... the threshold for school construction renovation was lowered to 55% voter approval and the Howard Jarvis people offered little resistance... some even said they went along with it.
I just find it funny that people don't actually listen to the people that they go out and vote for.

As soon as Gavin started talking crap (and I was already on the way out), I started putting stuff on the market.

Because that word hurt the poor. Wait so did the gas tax and ... well just about every tax.
Some people like to vote for people that hurt the poor.

My recently deceased neighbor of 103 living in the home she bought new in 1960 was quite worldly and bright... her favorite show was Jeopardy and it was a kick to hear her rattle off the answers... over 50 years teaching starting in a one room school house at age 17...

Anyway... she said this too will pass... find a place you like and put down roots.

Well the poor still pay the gas tax, the high licensing fees, renewals and more. But you are correct the middle class is getting hit the hardest.

The talking points has shifted from equal or fair to equity...

Politicians here are using equity to describe all manor of proposals...

You have to learn to use the quote feature. I never posted those words, so don't attribute them to me.

And that is why the law was passed by the people. Keep people in their homes regardless of how much money someone else has and wants to spend on a home, even if it means you must leave your home. The world is very self centered.
