Havent watched the Fresno reaction yet, but how are people supposed to react? Id laugh and have some fun if I was there.
Most cities react with loud boos/etc. Fresno kind of just sat on its hands and shrugged its shoulders; a few even cheered the fact that "Fresno ranked #1 in worst air quality".

Being #1 at something would be something to cheer about, I guess ;p
It's actually #3 in CA and the air is improving, thanks to state regulations

And here is a respected Golden Globe winning Hollywood/NYC Director praising Sacramento who created a movie as a Love Letter to Sacramento.

Give it 3-6 years. Its slowly making strides. I've been in LA for the past 17 years and even their downtown was sh*t until Staple Center was built and everything changed until now its become a boomtown. It takes time.

This may sound weird to you. , but I'm actually a Fresno California cheerleader. So no disrespect to Fresno CA.I'm on my smartphone and can't leave hyper-links to make my point , so that has to wait until tomorrow.

I was born and raised in Metropolitan Tulsa Oklahoma , but have actually spend more time in the state of California , than the state of Oklahoma. From Latter 1977 to 1988 I have lived in Long Beach,San Franciso,Oakland and Vallejo CA , moving back to Tulsa OK in 1988 to 1990 two and a half years. After two-and-a-half years of living in Tulsa Oklahoma I was chopping at the bits to get back to California , and guess where I was going Fresno California. Thank God that FRESNO California had bizarre unemployment numbers , I guess it even reached 20 or 25% how in the world is that possible???Well I couldn't find a job in Fresno California saving both ours Bacon's me and the great City of Fresno California.

I have a lot to say tomorrow about Fresno California and to be quite honest with you Fresno would be a decent City if it had clean air and the bullet train running through it right now. it's still a ways down the road to the H Street bullet train Fresno Station.

I think Fresno's a good choice if you want a cheaper city in California. It tends to get hated on a lot, but to me, that makes me see it as the underdog in a way. I'd like to see Fresno improve as time goes on. It seems like it already has improved a lot. Crime was really bad back in the 2004-2008 years. There's still a lot of crime but it has definitely improved.

I root for the (underdog ) too that's the reason why I'm pulling for Tulsa , Fresno , Boise , Spokane and Wichita Kansas.

gangs and crime? F that, FACTS SHOW SACRAMENTO has more violent crime

comparison between big cities can be found here:
https://gddlaw.com/2016/05/12/cities...nia-dangerous/
and here:
Moderator cut: link removed, competitor site

homicide stats:
https://abc30.com/homicides-down-by-...ounty/4978297/
For comparison:
Fresno COUNTY (fresno, clovis, etc): 32
City of Oakland alone: 66
Alameda COUNTY (includes oakland): 85
Contra Costa COUNTY: 38
San Francisco: 42
bay area source:
https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/01/...omicides-2018/

thats right, Fresno is safer city has less violent crime per X population than Sacramento, Los Angeles, LA, SF, Oakland.

Sacramento median price for a home is $100K more thanks to the hype that has got people moving out there from the bay due to housing panic. But they are moving to parts of sac that aren't great. Nice parts of sac and its suburbs are already as much as places closer to the bay area.

Fresno/clovis is the ONLY relevant city in the central CA (note not saying central valley as that would include sac). It damn near carries it. 5th biggest city in CA. Clovis schools are nationally ranked high and award winning. Fresno state is a very reputable college also ranked.

and for investors
but if you had to wait for a list like that, its already too late honestly,

only downside is main highway is at the edge of town and you have to go through the less desireable parts of town before you get to the good ones, unless you are coming up from socal and you go up 41.

bakersfield is on the outside looking in when it comes to trying to be like sac and fresno

Recent reports though say Fresno is not friendly to blacks. And more blacks are moving up to sacramento area.

FresNO is NOT one of California's diverse and integrated cities.
