The COVID sheep basically tossed data and science aside for virtue signaling and smugness. Thankfully, the leader of the anti-science movement is getting recalled.
100% correct. And yet somehow, the slightest opposition to any sort of restriction, or any insinuation that this thing wasn’t as deadly as some feared, was met with an angry mob screaming “ANTI-SCIENCE!!!” (Unless it was associated with a BLM rally.)

Yet many of those same people flipped out when the CDC reduced the 6ft rule to 3ft for classrooms. They only follow the "science" when they agree with it.

And then there are the variants......
You can also choose to wear a raincoat if it's sunny outside. The variants have not done much to alter the dramatic drop in positivity rates, new cases, and deaths. To even bring them up suggests you're following the media's panic porn more closely than the actual data.

Good observation, makes as much sense as saying I'll wear a condom when not having sex because I believe in science. If people really believed in science, they wouldn't justify wearing masks outdoors for anything other than they like the sensation of feeling their own hot breath.

No, just keeping a wary eye out. Thank you for your permission to make my own choices.

I would point out that there’s a distinction between “believing” and “understanding” ... excoriating and ridiculing people who believe that ‘science’ is the right protocol, but who may not be scientifically analytical and erudite enough to get beyond subscribing to what ‘experts’ tell them, is just being kinda snotty don’t ya think?

Article on some new research on the covid virus. Further research likely needed on this, before it can be considered conclusive

Get your vaccination.

A COVID-19 surge has struck Oregon, alarming officials, who have slammed the state’s opening measures into reverse. Doctors say that patients they’re seeing are younger, sicker and often without underlying medical conditions, suggesting that potent variants could be partly to blame.

COVID-19 surges in Oregon, sickening younger adults and forcing a return to restrictions:
