Totally, Dude!! Well, almost... actually I might be a bit farther north of you, up towards Chico. Which BTW, recently acquired the "interesting" distinction of being rated #7 among the country's Top 40 Pot Smoking Cities! But what I think is especially interesting for this area, is the convergence of "producers" (up in the foothills), "consumers" (esp. the college kids at CSU and the large boomer retirement population nearby), along with many local "entrepreneurs" (providing products & services for the "culture"), all of which combine to make it a colorful bellwether for various "trends".

Yes. You are north. I know Chico from back in the day. I once went on a road trip from SDSU to pick up a couple of friends at UCLA and then up to Chico St. for a two day bash then back down to Los Angeles to surf at County Line and then back to SDSU. This was back when Playboy rated SDSU #1 as a party school. Of course that was all BS as it was based on Fraternity Row at the respective schools. We were all decidedly anti-frat. Oh not their parties but their overall "culture". And we all decided that each of the three schools we represented could hold their own. Anyway, four days and who knows how many brain cells later, we arrived just in time for Monday classes. Still one of my best memories of my college daze. Respectfully Dude!
