Late May, usually. There was an especially long, cold Winter and Spring this year. So maybe that delayed the leaves coming out by a few weeks.

You're not alone. Alberta doesn't see a lot of green until June usually. But this year its been amazing, green grass and leaves showed up mid-may. It was the warmest may I've ever experienced in Calgary. But it's well deserved after the awful winter this year. Most other places in Canada though like Ontario have green leaves starting to show in late april/early may.

Our leaves in windsor usually start coming out in late march when the grass starts to green back up. I'm sure we're the first place outside of BC to show signs of spring in Canada.
