Some of the biggest and most active Facebook groups promoting the trucker protests are run by a woman in Missouri, except they aren’t. The woman’s account was hacked and taken over by someone else last month:
The stolen account was administering a collection Facebook groups started between Jan. 26 and Jan. 28 that had amassed more than 300,000 followers that had 7,500 posts.
Somehow I'm not surprised, but I'd hate to see anyone attribute that way of thinking to all truckers.
The Confederate flags in Canada are just plain weird. Are they still mad about that Underground Railroad thing?
It is weird and most Canadians would only really know that flag from the controversy about it in the US.
My guess, is that they have grabbed onto the symbols used from the far right in the US. Those type of people have a simplistic and uniformed view of the world, hence calling everyone else a fascist, while waving a Nazi flag.

Yes it is very weird and quite embarrassing.
Most of them probably have no idea about the underground rail road....I hate to say this but it's another reminder of the lack of a strong local culture and lack of national identity in some areas of the country. Here where I live, i have seen that flag on a few pick up trucks and even hung outside of some ones home. SMH

Those guys, and that type, for sure. The confederate flag on the other hand, I think less so.
I think the rest of us know about the underground railroad. There was even a Heritage Minute done on it
