No bad cells found in urine. Scheduled for Urology appt. in early Nov.
Dealing with same symptoms, and some real pain intermittingly so I saw my Dr. yesterday because I am still concerned it could be kidney stones. Nothing had shown up on CT, but I was told stones don't always show up. After describing my pain and symptoms to a relative who has suffered through kidney stones, it sure sounds similar.
So she is prescribing something just in case for kidney stones during the next few weeks. And, I'm simply taking over the meds counter for pain.

Thank you all for the support.
Well the good news is the CT shows nothing: Praise to God for that.
Now, it will be interesting to see what the Urologist has to say. I will share with you a story about a lady I talk with in our rec center hot tub a few times a week. She is in her 80s and has had, what appears to be a kidney infection for years. She has had every test imaginable, has seen her primary care doctor, a Urologist and a infectious disease doctor. They can not find out what is causing this. I think she has reached the stage of just living with it. After somewhere around 20 years, no answers she is pushing it out of her mind I think.

nmnita....I thank you for sharing your conversation....I feel for that lady....I pray that I'm not doomed to that.
Re: Last weeks Dr. visit....I couldn't take the prescription most prescribed for kidney stones because I am allergic to sulfa.
I did get a prescription for pain, took it one day and read it isn't good to take it daily....so for now I'm just hanging on until my next appt.
The pain comes intermittently a few days, then dissipates for a few.
My next Dr. apt is 28th.....and the Urology appt. is Nov. 7.....Hanging on til then.
Saw my Dr. when she got back from vaca and she had a chance to view the CT with me. She noticed my uterus seems swollen so I have a sonogram Tues. of my uterus. Fingers crossed.
Still have a the cystoscopy in Nov.
I'll keep updating. Thanks to everyone for the support, I really appreciate all your thoughts and comforting words.
