So my mother is doing very bad in Miami. I can either fly tomorrow am with cat at a cost of $1400 or drive from Denver with cat at a cost of $600 each way of 3 days of driving so 6 days total driving.
The whole thing is I'm VERY afraid to fly and my cat who is 19 has never flown. So while I'm be in complete panic mode myself I'll be adding the stress of him possible bugging out or whatever else.
I don't care about the driving but my brother is like it's 6 days of driving for being down there for a week. I'd leave tomorrow am at 6am and have to be back the 31st the latest. I tried calling the cat boarding and they are booked and that would be the ONLY place I would leave him for almost 12 days.
Any ideas or suggestions?? The thought of the plane deal is already putting me in panic mode.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. If you don't mind driving and you think the cat would be ok with being on the road that long, maybe that would be best.
If you are comfortable driving and your cat is too - drive. Follow the usual safety precautions: no open windows, doors closed until cat is secured in carrier, lock/bolt hotel room, have enough food/water/litter with you and any medication he might need. Will you have a secure place in Miami for him?
Do you have any friends/colleagues who might baby sit?
I don't have anyone to cat sit. So that's completely out.
He's perfectly fine driving. He'll sleep in passenger seat or on my lap. We've done road trips several times between Miami/tampa and Miami/Charlotte. Plus we drove out here. He'll be at my parents place. Perfectly fine as he grew up there.
The more I think about it, the more I think I'll just drive. That way I can bring some things back from Miami in my trunk.
Driving does sound like your best option this time. Certainly the most cost effective.
But for future needs, especially if you have to make a quick flight there and back, you might check into a professional in-home pet care service.
Our cat is 17 y.o., on meds, and we take long vacations. We leave him at home and use a professional pet sitter that's also a trained veterinary technician. For $19 a day, she comes in once a day to feed, medicate, and pamper our old guy. She also brings in the mail, waters plants, checks on the house, etc.
We got the referral initially from our veterinarian, and we've used her for 3 years now.
I wish I had that option Biscuit but I don't know anyone and I have a lot of expensive stuff in my apt and do not feel comfortable with having someone in my house I do not know.
Now the flight is over $1500 and if I drive it's going to be 3+ days and I'm not even sure my mother will make it in that time frame. I'm so stressed out...
I'm sorry about your mom. Another vote for driving. Sounds like it would be best for both of you. Best wishes for a stress free drive and I hope your mom can hang on until you get there. If she knows you are coming perhaps she will wait.
