If you absolutely must rehome two, please find a home for the kittens. They are much more likely to find homes, and will adjust better than adults to losing their home. And maybe you could find a rental house where you could keep them all. Lots of cats are PTS every day, because there are so very many of them.
Well the whole reason why we kept the kittens is because of our son. He really wanted them and he's very attached. They/him are more tolerable of each other. I wouldn't be taking my other cats to a shelter, I know they're overwhelmed and will put animals down with no hesitation. I would be taking them to a no kill place, like an SPCA. Rental homes are out of the question unfortunately Too costly.
