Looking at how our two say good bye to SO in the morning and greet him when he comes home - I am a certified can opener. He broke speed limits to come home and take one to the emergency vet. Diagnosis - perturbed female:>(

Didn't know there was an 'official' diagnosis for it. I think I have a permanent epidemic of that here at my house.
I generally keep our 3 out of my bedroom to keep it pet free, but last night I opened the door and Lucky and Daisy took advantage of it and slept with me...........it was kind of a kitty treat for them. Lucky slept like a log and is still sleeping on my bed.

It's been soooo long since I've slept without at least one cat on my bed, I've forgotten what it's like.
I'm not complaining, but there have been times I've wished they were sleeping somewhere else.
That is the other part of it, I need a good night's sleep and these 3 get crazy at night.......that is when they come to life. Lucky did sleep most of the night but a few times I woke up to him staring me in the face and making muffins on my arm, and he has SHARP claws.
Today was laundry day so I have again put them outside my room because I washed my bedding. Daisy is out there meowing right now, but it is off limits again.

Yeah, my wife & I were lucky over the years. Our cats were always pretty quiet and/or sleeping pretty much through the night. Young kittens we had liked to get up on the bed and play sometimes, but they usually grew out of it. But I know what you mean about needing a good nights sleep, I'm that way too.
Oh, oh.......I've created a monster. Lucky and Daisy have been sitting outside my bedroom door all morning meowing to come in, so I relented and let them in. Daisy is fascinated by my computer cord, but Lucky just wants to nap on my bed. They are going to be a little disappointed because I have to leave for work pretty soon.

And that lump under the comforter is Daisy.........she LOVES to sleep under blankets and carpets !
